The hands behind every box

Every order that leaves this kitchen is mixed, shaped and baked by one person — not a production line. She believes she has always had a natural connection with food, and the joy and purpose she finds in creating and feeding people with love is unmatched. That's why nothing goes out that she wouldn't serve her own family.

"I grew up watching the women in my family make food with so much love — my mother, my grandmother and my maternal grandmother. Sura is inspired by them, and is my way of carrying that same warmth forward, one box at a time."

The story behind Sura

Sura is a legacy project inspired by three generations of women in her family. The initials of her mother, grandmother and maternal grandmother come together to form the name Sura — making it a little piece of her family's legacy.
